Client Testimonials

Homesick Blues Productions stepped in to do a last minute portrait photoshoot for our national mental health magazine. He worked quickly and provided us exactly what were looking for and then some. I would highly recommend their services for any personal or professional photo assignment.

I hired Ed, of Homesick Blues, to film a charity event in Chicago and to provide a highlight video and some other edited footage of the live music. Ed was on-time, courteous and a pleasure to work with. He captured great footage and stepped up to help edit even as we increased the scope of the project. Ed is professional, honest and hard working. If you care about someone being responsive, professional and detail orientated, I highly recommend him.

Ed did an approximately two-hour video shoot for me with 5 talents on screen. He was punctual and professional. His had all of his own equipment (cameras, lights, sound). He captured exactly what I requested and turned around the editing very quickly. My team loves the finished product. I would use Ed again for future projects.

I hired Ed to film my show, "Meet Me in a Moment," a classical concert of Jewish music, performed on stage at a community center with violin, piano, and a professional actor. He did an amazing job filming, so I also hired him to edit the video after the event. We communicated back and forth and he was so patient with my requests, edits, and questions. The end result was exactly what I hoped for, so I can't wait to work with Ed again. Highly recommend him for being so professional and pleasant to work with.

We sent Ed of Homesick Blues to capture an interview with a corporate client. Ed was absolutely instrumental in making the interviewee feel comfortable on camera, and helping to bring out great insights for the video. Always was quick to respond to questions, and he delivered the final footage quickly too. Thanks, Ed!

I would absolutely recommend Homesick Blues Productions to everyone. Ed was professional, thorough, and captured the spirit and purpose of our event perfectly. He does fantastic work, and the bonus is he is a genuinely nice guy! Despite a downpour during filming, he produced an amazing, high-quality video for us with a smile on his face and not a single complaint. Homesick Blues Productions is the way to go!

Ed is one of the nicest, most professional, reliable and helpful people I ever had an opportunity to work with. He went above and beyond in every way possible. I was running the shoot from another city and he helped me so much by finding and booking a location, working with a talent, finding affordable equipment to rent, calling in during the shoot so I could help direct it. I am looking forward to working with Ed and his team again. He is truly a rare individual. Can't say enough good things about working with him.

We are a new company that is marketing to schools. Our goal was to create a documentary style video that tells our story. Ed immediately understood what we needed and took charge. The quality of the video is outstanding. Ed has kept on schedule, was reasonably priced and was a pleasure to work with. I will continue to rely on Homesick Blues Productions for any video work we need in the future.

Ed recorded individual interviews for us as part of a history project. Within 24 hours of the interviews, Ed sent us the files. The videos came out great!

Ed did an amazing job with shooting the speech for our conference! Even though the job was last minute, he was able to adjust on the fly and roll with the punches while producing a great video for us in such a fast paced environment, while our CEO ran from one speech to the next. Thanks, Ed! I would definitely recommend him in the future!

— Shamatee Mitchell, IO Creative Group

Ed was very quick to return calls, answer questions, and provided a great, 2 camera angle high quality video of my speaking engagement within 1 week of the shoot. Highly recommended.

Ed was fantastic... I cannot recommend him enough - from the professionalism, to the creativity, time management, flexibility, and dedication to the project - he was flawless throughout the entire process. We had a lot of specifications and without hesitation he created solutions when presented with constraints. Ed delivered the final product a week ahead of schedule and exceeded expectations at every opportunity. Without a doubt, Ed will be my first call for all future projects. Ed is truly in a league of his own. A class act, incredible videographer, and brilliant team member - Ed is a master in his craft and Homesick Blues Productions is by far the best decision you can make for your film project.
